Jean Gangvang II is the son of Duke Gangvang, an influential noble from the Kingdom of Leazas.

A haughty and arrogant nobleman, Jean spend much of his time abusing his father's wealth and status to force others to cater to his every whim. 

Jean become fascinated by Yulang Mirage, the champion gladiator of the Leazas Coliseum, a woman renowned for both her great strength and exceptional beauty. Jean approached Yulang multiple times and attempted to convince her to retire from her career as a gladiator to become both his personal bodyguard and his wife, but was routinely rejected by the female warrior, who was only interested in strong men. /
