Okay first off, Izunahime is not a cat. She may look like a talking cat, and even though her signature move is her nekopunch, she repeats it often "I am not a cat!
Well, Izunahime was a human but turned into a cat via miracle power. In return for this humiliation (for her anyway, others think it is cute), she gains sharpened senses and can detect whether someone is lying from observation.
12000 years ago, while she was changing into a cat using the "Cat's Record", she was attacked causing her to drop the miracle, and ever since then she's been unable to return to her original form. She can alter her form to some degree such as growing wings, fangs and enlarging her tail. In her human form she used to be really strong, able to oppose even Mezaroa, and in her cat form she's about on the level of Chris Kanu and Ariari./
