Stranger to the group of friends and new to the area, he was Danielle's partner for a class project and she invited him on the trip to make him feel welcome.

Jay is a boy of few words and fewer emotions, but he's not smug or insincere. On the contrary, Jay speaks only when he has something of value to say, and he means it from the bottom of his heart.
