Ryuuha Jojima

Despite his no-frills appearance, Jojima is one of the highest-ranking magistrates in the Empire. He and the magistrate Ryuichi made names for themselves slaying monsters and hunting demon summoners early in their careers. With the threat of dark magic waning, Jojima has shifted into the role of detective, obsessively focused on bringing the Empire’s enemies to justice. He has no patience for the formalities of court, and pays no heed to the toes he steps on when seeking the truth.

Jojima has a fearsome reputation as a duelist, and most of those offended by his behavior choose simply to endure it for fear he will challenge them to a duel they cannot win. He is seen as mysterious and strange by some, calculating and cold by others. Regardless of his lack of social grace, Jojima is good at what he does and consistently gets results.
