The Register for "Faust". She initially calls Eito and Tale in to help solve Faust's lazy ennui, but it turns out she was a willing accomplice in Faust's corruption as she's excited by the primal desires of humans and the deeds committed in their name. Her nihilism makes her a problem child amongst the Registers, something even Historia admits to.

She uses her axe to cut down worms.

 Although her wish to see increasingly extreme acts in the name of primal desire gets in the way of her rightful duties as a register, she understands the personalities of Faust and Mephistopheles well and tries to ease their troubles when the mood strikes her.

When she's not on duty, Goethe writes pot-boiler ****ographic stories with a heavy Lesbian bent for the denizens of the story worlds to consume. Her readership stands at approximately 1.9 billion, so she feels a heavy responsibility to deliver a quality product in the face of strict deadlines. When Eito eventually tracks down Goethe as the writer of the chain **** novel, he is forced to work as her editor with an impending deadline looming as the job of the Librarian is to ease the troubles of Registers and Story characters. This experience serves as the inspiration for Eito's future career path, as Goethe discovers Eito is surprisingly talented at the job despite being forced into it. /
