Based on the manhwa Temper My Blade, the story takes place in a fantasy historical setting.
After his family is murdered by Demons 10 years ago, Yue Jue is trained  by his celestial master Ji Kongying. This is in preparation to become a sheath to his blade, whilst he would like to become a blade himself. Yue's progression whilst his affections towards him grow.
