Founded as a LD-manufactured company by Pioneer Corporation in 1981, Japan.
Accompanying the withdrawal of the Pioneer capital from Warner-Pioneer Corporation in ****, it was renamed to Pioneer LDC, Inc. and music business also was started. In 2003, re-renamed to Geneon Entertainment Inc. because of the stock transfer to Dentsu Inc.
